6 Fun Adult Things to do for Halloween in Houston

Halloween is only a fews day away and we’re so excited! This year Halloween falls on a Wednesday but just because it’s on a weekday doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate. Although kids are going to be out and about trick-or-treating that doesn’t mean the adults have to miss out on all the fun. Here are 6 fun adult only activities and parties happening in Houston this Halloween.

#1 – Visit “The Haunted Trails” haunted house attraction.

The haunted house combines the real horrors of feeling lost in a woods and feeling like you’re being chased. #2 – Party with celebs at the “Halloween Goes Hollywood” party at LUMEN Lounge.

#3 – Go on a BYOB haunted hike at Memorial Park.

#4 – Watch a scary movie at Miller Outdoor Theater.

Houston’s Miller Outdoor Theater will be screening the cult classic scary movie “Poltergeist“. This event is free to attend. You can even bring a blanket, a chairs, snacks, and BYOB and sit on the hill above the theater for the perfect view of Houston’s skyline and the movie. Celebrate Halloween with this creepy classic! #5 – Drink cocktails in costumes at The Cottonmouth Club

“One of Houston’s finest craft cocktail bars will have many treats (and some tricks) for you this Halloween, as it rings in the witches’ New Year with two floors of cocktails created by world-renowned bartender Michael J. #6 – Paint and sip the night away at a special Halloween paint party.

All 7 of our Painting with a Twist locations – Westheimer, Heights, Midtown, Memorial, Cypress, Katy, Sugar Land – will be hosting special edition Halloween paint and sip pARTies. These paint parties will be open to ages 18+ and 21+ to drink. You can also wear a costume (we actually encourage it) and BYOB!
