Painting with a Twist started as a way to uplift people and give back to the community in a fun and easy way. This idea is the core of our businesses and we continue to do what we can to give back to causes that make a impact in our community. At least once a month we host events or collaborate with organizations to create Painting with a Purpose. Through our Painting with a Purpose program businesses, franchises, organizations, schools, churches, shelters, and more can raise money for their cause or charity of choice just by booking a class.
This month we are pleased to announce that our Spring Valley studio will be hosting the Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church’s anti-trafficking fundraising, in which they will be raising money for The Mission of Yahweh.
“The Mission of Yahweh is a faith-based, non-denominational emergency & transitional shelter located in Houston, Texas that empowers, enriches and restores the lives of homeless women and children and provides outreach services to low income families in our community. The Mission has served Houston’s homeless women and their children since 1961. “
You don’t have to be a member of the Memorial Drive Church to contribute to this great cause. The church will be donating 50% of all sales from the “MDPC anti-Trafficking FUNDRAISER -Mission of Yahwe” class on Thursday March 8, 2018 at our Spring Valley location. Simply just click here to reserve your seat to participate in the class .If you unfortunately can’t make it to the class you can also directly donate in various ways and find out their current supply needs by visiting the Mission of Yahwe donations page.
