If you and your boo like art you can visit The Houston Museum of Fine Art, or if you’re a fan of science you check out The Houston Museum of Natural Science. If you’re a couple with kids take the whole family to have fun at The Children’s Museum of Houston. If you want to celebrate black history month and Valentine’s Day check out The Houston Museum of African American Culture. No matter which museum you go to they’re all free!
Join a Wine Tasting & Candle Making Class
Houston’s very own Buy the Glass Wine Bar & Lounge will be hosting romantic candle making classes. Not only will you get to make and take home your own signature candle you’ll also get to pair the experience with their large selection of wines. Buy the Glass will have a class every hour from noon to 8PM but you still make reservations and you must RSVP by 9pm on Feb. 12 to secure a spot. Join a Couples Paint & Sip Party
Every Valentine’s Day we host a variety couples art work paint parties at all seven of our Houston – Westheimer, Midtown, The Heights, Memorial, Cypress, Katy, and Sugar Land. This year we’ll have individual and couples set art work open for reservations at all studios. We supplies all the supplies, an professional artist instructors, music, games (including prizes), and cups and wine openers all for only $35 per person. Painters 18+ are welcome but only painters over 21+ can choose from on in studio drink menu or BYOB. Guest are also allowed to bring food, so feel free to bring chocolate colored strawberry or your sweethearts favorite snack.
