Christmas is now just a few week away. We’re all starting to make travel planes, going holiday gift shopping, decorating our homes, and more. It never hurts to plan ahead of time during the holidays, especially since is one of the jolliest but also busiest time of year. Too make your holiday planning a little bit easier this year we wanted to share our list activities to do in Houston fun and appropriate for the whole family!
Ice Skating at Discovery Green
Glide beneath the glittering lights of downtown Houston and embrace the holiday cheer on the ice! The ice will be open on Christmas Eve from 11am – 7pm. To skate it’s $11/per person and $4 to rent a pair of skates or you can bring your own. You can buy tickets at Discovery Green park or buy them online here.
Houston Ballet’s The Nutcracker
The Nutcracker is classic holiday store passed on from generation to generations. Ballet’s and theaters around the world perform their own interpretation of the story, including out very own Houston Ballet company. Hosted at the Wortham Theater the Houston production of The Nutcracker by Stanton Welch is magical and whimsical. And the show is open to all ages. Breakfast with Santa at Downtown Aquarium
How many people can say they had breakfast with the Santa Claus? Well now you can when you reserve a seat at the annual Breakfast with Santa event at Houston’s Downtown Aquarium. Festival of Lights at Moody Gardens
Take a quick trip to Galveston to see the amazing Festival of Lights at Moody Gardens. It’s not just a light show though.
